We only provide the best quality and freshest elderflowers, therefore we pick, chill, pack and post the elderflowers all on the same day. They are packed in insulated boxes and will arrive at your doorstep before 12 noon the next day.

For best results and flavour we recommend using the elderflowers the same day as they arrive or keep them chilled and use them the following day.

One kg of elderflowers consist out of 40-70 elderflower heads depending on their size.

We will be in contact with you as soon as the harvest starts and confirm the delivery date with you.

Estimated start of harvest season is the 27th of May 2024.

DESCRIPTION: Freshly opened flowers of Elder (Sambucus nigra L.), grown in East Sussex, England, hand-picked by cutting at the base of the main umbel/with <4cm of stem below umbel and cooled to <5◦C within 1 hour of harvest.

APPEARANCE: creamy-white petals, full of yellowy-green pollen and small green stems. Free-from brown flowers.

AROMA: delicate fresh floral aroma, characteristic of Sambucus nigra (with some citrus and fresh green notes). Free-from strongly vegetal aromas.
